The results explode from the speakers with the opener Cannonball and a killer rock guitar riff from Libutti that is every schoolboy’s wet dream. Melanie Krahmer has one of those strong, womanly voices that has a bit of the cannon’s roar about it too, and I must say, she sounds a bit combative. “Love is a cannonball, smashing through our defences!” she cries. If nothing else, Krahmer leads from the front with one foot on a kick drum and a clenched fist in the air. Let me tell you that this track is a hit record waiting to happen.
